Background:
David has ridden both with the Junior and Espoir National Teams on both road and track, and in 2001 competed in the Junior World Track Championships. In 2003 he raced the winter track season in Australia, then joined with a Belgian road team that raced throughout Europe. Through 2005 he continued to race internationally with the Espoirs National team and in 2007 rode with the Nerac Professional Cycling Team in the US. David then returned to Belgium to finish the road season, and with his fine racing performances he signed with the Belgian Yawadoo-ABM-Badhuis O'Pure Cycling Team where he raced in numerous Elite and UCI events throughout northern Europe.
