Amauri Perez, still unaccustomed to the frigid NY Spring, won race #7 of the NYC Spring Series. He and Eugene got into a breakaway of 9 riders that stayed clear until the finish. In the uphill sprint to the line, Amauri narrowly beat Lisban Quintero (CRCA/ Empire), and Michael Chauner (Bucknell). During the race, Amauri was so cold that he didn't take off his outer jacket, not even for the final lap (underneath were many layers, including his team-issue winter jacket).

Note: Although Jason Bremer has already won two triathlon races this year, this is the team's first road-race victory of the 2007 season.

Results:
1 Amauri Perez, GS Mengoni
2 Lisban Quintero, CRCA/Empire Cycling Team
3 Michael Chauner, Bucknell
4 Mike McGinley, Anthem
5 Jon Erdelyi, Metra Sports
6 Franklin Burgos, Champion System
7 Jackie Simes Jr, Pennsylvania Lighting
8 Ken Harris, CRCA/Empire Cycling Team
9 Eugene Boronow, GS Mengoni
10 Ricky Lowe, Think Racing
